Week 1 Day 2 - Having the Right Music

You have made it to day 2 - Congratulations! Why is today a day you should mark in your calendar? You will look back at your diary entry for today, where you said you were out of breath, out of shape and hoping it would start to rain just so you could turn around and head straight for home. You'll look back and marvel at how far you've come in little over 2 weeks from now (that's if you are doing the fast paced C25k otherwise it's 4 weeks).

Here's my diary entry: Today may not seem like much of an achievement after all it was just short bursts of 60 second jogging. However those 60 seconds seemed to last forever each time. I kept looking into the distance and am now able to gauge by sight 60 second markers - a lamp post a car - where I will eventually be able to walk again for 90 seconds. It's tiring, it's sweaty, and it was the hardest workout I've had in 2 years.

Today's Run:

Brisk 5 minute warm-up walk
Alternate 60 seconds of jogging with 90 seconds …
