The Smily Project - Meditation

Meditation. Good heavens. Sitting still while stilling your mind.
The benefits of this activity are well documented. Lowers stress, creates spiritual connectedness, balances the hormones and a produces calm to inhibit insomnia. More interesting though is that it can be a natural cure for psychosomatic manifestations like asthma, headaches and skin problems that are linked to stress and anxiety. It can help you to control more serious problems like high blood pressure, muscular tension, pain and circulatory problems.

So what's so hard about sitting down for 20 minutes a day and letting go. Everything and nothing. I find plenty of time for sleep. Plenty of time for watching my favorite TV show, but twenty minutes for meditation.
